Henry’s First Day of 4 Year Old Preschool!
It’s official. Henry is a 4 Year Old Preschooler.
He’s the big man on campus!
Now, let me start by saying that this year’s “first day of school experience” was dramatically different from last year.
I mean night and day, people!

Last year involved lots of crying…by him…and by me… *sigh*
…Not this year!
This year, this boy wants to go to school. He’s excited and he’s curious, not to mention the fact that he’s a complete goof-ball!
We took it easy this past summer and I think it was the best thing I could’ve ever done for him. I think he needed a “kid break” and if that entailed more time and snuggles with him, then I was game!
I just can’t believe we’re to this point. I can’t believe he’s already four. I can’t believe he’s actually excited and happy and willing to go to school or as Henry would say, “Ffffffooool.” It makes my heart happy. It makes my heart happy for Henry. 🙂
We already miss him, yet he’s only had a handful of school days…

…but he’s ready.
(Me? Not so much, but that’s another blog post. One which will involve a guaranteed ugly cry. #kiddingnotkidding)

Aw yay, Henry!! What a brave boy! I know that the fact that he's excited about it at least made it a smidge easier for you to let him go. It's always the WORST when your baby is crying and doesn't want to go either. I bet he'll have a FANTASTIC year!!

He is TOO cute! I swear, he's the boy version of Lily! Her teacher just informed me today that she adds a lot of entertainment to their morning! I hope Henry has a great school year!
Such sweet pictures of your boy! It's so nice when they are excited to go to school! Brayden was a mess for the first few months of 3 year preschool but 4 year was a whole different ball game. I hope he has a great year!!
