Let me start by saying that I’ve always loved reading blogging stats, I especially love income reports! You best believe that I’m that girl in the corner always cheering others on!
Hopefully this little blog report is encouraging and/or entertaining. 😉 Also, I’d love all the advice and encouragement I can get, so feel free to bombard me with your blogging knowledge. 🙂

The month of April proved to me that I can stay consistent and with that consistency comes reward. I loved not only sharing our lives, but I loved the creativity…and, not to mention, the HUGE amount of income I brought in. 😉 😉 😉 <—–emphasis on the winks
In all seriousness though, this was a good month. I’m beyond proud of myself and there’s a lot of learning that’s taken place.
I’m learning that every social media platform has potential, whether I have 18 followers or 600.
I’m also learning that page views matter, SEO matters and Pinterest matters. Link up parties have also helped me meet with new friends and reconnect with bloggers from back in the day, which makes me feel comforted.
So here we go, without knowing much, but with lots to learn along the way – my first income report that I’m posting brought in…..

Okay, so that $11.35 may not seem like much, BUT you guys – I earned that! I stayed with it, met other bloggers, and blogged my little heart out and earned it!

This month I plan to continue to stay consistent with my posting. Consistency, I’m learning, is key. It also seems that Pinterest is a major source of page views for me, so it’d be worth me understanding more about how Pinterest can benefit my blog through Idea Pins. I also started sharing on my Facebook page again. I need to somehow figure out how to direct traffic over there, too. My other major focus is to get my page views numbers up so that I can apply for another way to monetize from advertisements.
Okay, so, there you have it – I’d be ecstatic to make $15.00 this month – so we shall see. Slow and steady…

Once you start getting those pageviews you need to apply for Mediavine and ditch Adsense. You'll be astonished at the payout compared to Adsense.
