July had arrived and as tired as we were, we were ready to finally get out and enjoy the outdoors.
I was excited to make a little treat for the kids. Some Cool Whip, graham cracker crumbs, blueberries and strawberries made for a yummy way to ring in the month of July.
Jane was growing…
I had started to exercise…
We enjoyed the splash pad yet again…
Eliza somehow looked 13…
The 4th had arrived and the kids patiently awaited the fun to be had on the water slid we had rented…
So, soooo much fun.
They played on this all day. I mean ALL. DAY!!!
Jane got out too!
Jane celebrated in style!
Henry passed out by 8 and somehow Eliza was still going strong and Jane had just woken up before the fireworks were to begin. The city fireworks are directly across the lake for us, so we opted to stay indoors and watch from our sliders. I’m not going to lie, it was nice being indoors and away from the mosquitoes. Lame I know, but hey – it was nice for one year!
Jane went out on the boat…
The kids got in lots of swimming…
And Jane went on her first boat ride. As you can see, she looooved that life jacket…
She did great during the ride, but was happy to get back home…
More waterslide fun before it got picked up!
The kids holding Jane…
We took the kids to the theater. It was Jane’s first time going to a show!
Sweet girl was well into her third month…
She was squishy all over!
Jon took Henry and Eliza to go see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at our local theater. I was soooooo bummed I couldn’t go, but I was happy the kids got to go see it with Jon. They loved it and I still hear them singing the songs.
More swimming…
More outdoor snuggles. Jane took a lot of naps out on our back porch.
Tummy time!
My loves.
Jane’s first stroller ride in the actual stroller. This lasted 31.2 seconds…
Sitting the Bumbo. Girlfriend’s thighs kept getting stuck. Haha!
Those blue eyes!
Some fun arcade and go kart time!
A new toy.
The first time in our lake!
Chilling lakeside…
I mean, those sunglasses and thighs though…
…and that hair!
Jane having her first taste of cereal…
I cried. Because hormones and because it occurred to me that it was the last first time for me to feed one of my babies food…
A wellness visit…
How cleaning got done…
…and that’s where I’ll stop.
August was right around the corner. We were still trying to figure out our new normal.
Thanks for sticking around…again.
Marie 🙂
