Wow! You guys, I’m waaaay behind with my blogging and my blog reading. Where-oh-where have these last few weeks gone? I mean, I know I was sick somewhere in there, but man – I feel like it was Thanksgiving, then BAM! Here we are.
Okay, okay – put on my girl pants and deal with it, right?! LOL!
It’s Friday.
Let’s get to it.

The kids and I have been having a lot of fun together lately. I’ve been trying to slow down and embrace these special moments. Normally, I wouldn’t show you these photos because: (1.) It shows a bit of Eliza’s bedroom before the big reveal *gasp*. (2.) My awesome outfit. (3.) I had been practicing my makeup on only one eye for the Ball/Gala, so naturally I look like a hot mess!
…But I just couldn’t resist sharing our fun. Henry loved pressing the self-timer and we were having a blast being silly. I love my people.

Henry’s school pictures.
What a difference a year makes. This is the photo currently on display in our family room and it makes me smile every time I look at it.
This boy…this boy has stolen my heart.

The Ball…
*hair flip* *twirl*
Jon and I had a great time – we danced so much. It was needed and well-deserved. We attended the Ball with some great friends, two of them being the awesome, Sara of The Hayes Homestead and her fantastic hubby, Jason.
I’ll let the camera phone pictures do the talking.
Last night Sara, our friend, Ashley and I attended a snowman painting party. I was terrified that mine was going to be terrible (I can’t draw…like, at all), but it turned out! Everyone had an awesome snowman and we all had so much fun.
I’ll definitely be attending more painting parties in the future!
Thanks for stopping by this little blog of mine.
Have a great weekend!
Marie 🙂 🙂 🙂
I’m linking up with April, Natasha, and Christina for the Five on Friday link-up Paaaaarty!
Happy Friday! We had a rough start to the week over here. Being a parent isn’t easy. Fortunately, there are ways to remedy tough parenting days. One word: wine. Last night, while at the grocery store, I had an amazing idea to buy a bottle of wine and enjoy some vino while painting our…

Here we are again! Another wonderful week and another wonderful weekend ahead! This week was definitely a fun one, but – wowza – on Thursday I was a Halloween Mombie. No, I didn’t get dressed up the day after Halloween or anything like that. I was just 100% tapped out of any and all energy….
Happy Friday, friends! It’s my birthday -WOOT WOOT – and I’m proud to admit that I brushed my hair today! Can I get an, “Oh, yeah!” Today, I’m linking up for Five on Friday, as well as mine and Sara’s monthly, goal-oriented, link up, The Monthly Meet Up. It’s all about some quick snippets into…

I love painting parties – I did one a few months ago and was terrified too because I SUCK at drawing and painting but was so surprised with how it turned out. Your snowman is adorable!
