My Amazon account has been all over the place and it’s also filled with a few things I’d love to try out. With that said, for today’s post, I’ve included a little bit of both.
I’ll start with these window coverings. If you’ve been following me over on Instagram (overatmaries) then you know we’ve been trying to figure out our front window situation. I came across these bamboo type shades. They’re timeless and incredibly easy to install. We purchased three and I’ll be giving a window covering reveal as soon as I figure out the curtains to go with them.
Next up, I ordered this Halloween costume for Eliza. She’s been talking about being a Circus Ringmaster and I absolutely think it’s such a cute idea! She’s been talking about red lipstick and pin curls, too, and I’m here for it!
Next, we’ve (and by “we” I mean Jon) ordered some Halloween party essentials – Halloween lights and an essential fog machine. Ha! We’ve decided to throw a Halloween party and while I plan to make things cute, this party will be taking place in our garage…so I’m really into things being more on the good ole garage party side of things…easy, low maintenance and kind of dark and dingy…
Have you seen these bed sheets for potty training? Okay, so we use a fitted sheet, a waterproof covering and then a mattress cover for the kids’ beds in case of any and all accidents, but these…these are genius! I’ve yet to order them, but I’ll definitely be giving them a try, especially since Jane still wears a Pull-Up to bed and this will be a game-changer when she forgoes the Pull-Up at nighttime.
We’re going to a concert in Detroit this weekend and of course, it’s going to be freeeeezing. I don’t think it warrants a winter jacket, but I do think that not having some sort of warmth could become an issue. Well, for me anyway, Jon would wear a t-shirt and shorts in the middle of January here in Michigan. Yikes!
I’ve been seeing a lot of love over blazers lately and I’ve seriously considered going to Goodwill to find one – in fact I just know I’m going to do just that, but in the meantime, I’m reaaaaaally thinking about ordering this blazer. What do you think? Should I do it??
