Friday Favorites – Tball, Movie Night and A Painted Door

Hello there, friends! Who else is running out of breath? These past couple of weeks have been really busy, like really, REALLY busy. So much so that I’ve shown up to dance, or soccer, or piano, or a concert, or a teacher appreciation day or to pick up the kids from school completely out of breath from running from one location to the next. Phew! It’s the best kind of busy, it really is, but I must say, I’m very much looking forward to the weekend…aaaaaand speaking of the weekend, we’re going to see Wicked tomorrow! This will be mine and Jon’s fourth time seeing it, our first was on Broadway in New York back in 2007! It was my first Broadway show in New York and for it to have been Wicked was the absolute best!!!!! Jon and I will be taking my mom and all three kids – none of whom have ever seen it and I’m soooo excited for them to take it all in! It’s bittersweet, because I just know my dad would’ve loved it, too. Actually, I remember thinking how much he would’ve enjoyed it way back in 2007. I’m thrilled my mom is going and I just know he’ll be there through her!

As for my Friday Favorites, I’m still over here working on this new blog as I attempt to simultaneously keep it together for the month of May. My ads aren’t working yet and setting up my email and a newsletter is making my head spin, but somehow a Facebook group with help me out or my hosting will come through and tell me what the heck to do! BUT, I did manage to get creative this week and share some fun finds! Let’s get to it!

ONE

Jane joined Tball this week and, you guys, YOU GUYS – it was the cutest thing EVER! It was her idea to join and, out of the three kids, she’s the first to give Tball a try! Her first practice was last night and I think I said, “Awww,” at least 73 times. We took Henry and Eliza to watch her practice since she’s been such a fan for them during all of their sports! It was also good for all of us to see how much she’s grown and how much of a big girl she’s become. We love her to pieces and I can’t wait to share more over on Instagram!

TWO

Earlier this week, I shared a, Host an Outdoor Movie Night, blog post! I CANNOT wait for slow summer nights…and an outdoor movie night sounds like so much fun!

THREE

I managed to paint our front door last weekend – I’ve only been wanting to paint it for 16 years. Oomph. So, on Mother’s Day, and as a gift to myself, I finally got it done! Woohoo!!

Welp, it’s a short one today. I’m off to get in a dirt road run with Jon and Jane and then I’ll be working on an Instagram Reel!

Thank you, as always, for stopping by! Have the most wonderful and beautiful day, friends!

Marie 🙂
