It’s Friday and it’s going to be 80 degrees here in Michigan today! Woohoo!!!
Snow is in the forecast on Monday, but we’ll worry about that about 72 hours from now. Ugh!
As for today and for the rest of the weekend, we plan to go to the park, run some errands, Jane has dance this evening and we plan to eat homemade pizzas for dinner. Henry and Eliza have their first soccer games of the season tomorrow morning and then after their games, we’re heading over to Ann Arbor because Henry and I are running a race called, The Big House 5K on Sunday morning! I’ve participated in this race before, but this will be Henry’s first time and I just know he’s going to love running the race and finishing on the University of Michigan football field!
I remember be so happy to start running because it was 20 degrees, windy and it was snowing at one point and I was freeeeezing!
As for how our Easter weekend went, I’ll be getting up a blog post on Monday! In the meantime, I had ordered these matching Easter pajamas for the kids and they were perfect! Henry was such a good sport matching his sisters and participating in the cuteness.
These pajamas run from 3 months to size 16 so they’re perfect for kids spread out in age and sizes. I was really, truly pleased with the quality and fit of these bunny jammies and just wanted to share that if you want to order for next year, now’s a great time. They’re 60% off!!! I ordered Jane a size 5T (she’s 4), Henry a size 14 (he’s 11) and Eliza a size 16 (she’s 9).
I didn’t have too many projects to post and share this week, but I did take down our shutters on the front of our house! What color do you think would look good? I’m going for a cottage look, I’m thinking either white or black to go along with the yellow. I’d absolutely love to hear your thoughts!
As you can see, Jon also ripped out all the landscaping and we plan to add some plants in the coming weeks. Our old landscaping was just out of control and it wasn’t looking as clean. I’m excited for this space to come together!
I’ve also been blogging a lot this week about our trip to Seaside! If you’re interested in just scrolling through and learning more about Seaside, here are the links to my recaps so far…
Lastly, who’s on Lemon8?? I’m over there hanging out just sharing whatever comes to mind! I have no idea what I’m doing, but so far it’s a nice space! I’m Over at Marie’s over there… come join me and we can have no idea what we’re doing together! Lol!
Alrighty then, that’s it for now! I hope you all have the most beautiful day and hopefully the sun in shining where you are!
Let’s make some DIY Hot Glue Pumpkins! This Halloween DIY was incredibly simple to make and I must admit, therapeutic. For this project, all that is needed is a pumpkin of your choice, I opted for almost pie-sized pumpkins, and a hot glue gun. While working hot gluing, I did attempt other designs, but decided…
Hey there, friends! I’m here today to share the cutest little turkey craft / turkey snack for your kiddos! This could make for a really cute class craft, Thanksgiving class party activity and/or a little snack for your little turkeys to eat while at the kid table on Thanksgiving day. I’m sure it would pair…
Okay, sooo let me completely transparent here. Martha Stewart I am not…and these melted chocolate covered strawberries had be questioning my baking and crafting and decorating abilities- BUT – I did it, I finished it and guess what? The kids absolutely devoured these special little beastly 😉 treats! If anyone out there knows how to…
Let’s make an easy DIY tomato cage Halloween ghost! I love my little front porch ghost and I’m so excited to share how I made this sweet little fella! I decided to try to make this tomato cage Halloween ghost as budget-friendly as possible! I didn’t have a tomato cage on hand, some of you…
Hey there, friends! Well, well, well…it seems that summer break is really taking over. I’ve been wanting to blog my little heart out, but the amount of time I’ve had available isn’t much and when I do have time I choose to sit down with Jon at the end of the day and watch Yellowstone…
Hello and Happy Friday, friends! I hope your week was lovely!!! It’s the calm before the storm for us of extreme busyness starting next week. I have a million and one meetings coming at me, Eliza’s production week for the spring musical is next week, I’m throwing Jane her 5th birthday party in two Sundays…
