It’s Friday and it’s going to be 80 degrees here in Michigan today! Woohoo!!!
Snow is in the forecast on Monday, but we’ll worry about that about 72 hours from now. Ugh!
As for today and for the rest of the weekend, we plan to go to the park, run some errands, Jane has dance this evening and we plan to eat homemade pizzas for dinner. Henry and Eliza have their first soccer games of the season tomorrow morning and then after their games, we’re heading over to Ann Arbor because Henry and I are running a race called, The Big House 5K on Sunday morning! I’ve participated in this race before, but this will be Henry’s first time and I just know he’s going to love running the race and finishing on the University of Michigan football field!
I remember be so happy to start running because it was 20 degrees, windy and it was snowing at one point and I was freeeeezing!
As for how our Easter weekend went, I’ll be getting up a blog post on Monday! In the meantime, I had ordered these matching Easter pajamas for the kids and they were perfect! Henry was such a good sport matching his sisters and participating in the cuteness.
These pajamas run from 3 months to size 16 so they’re perfect for kids spread out in age and sizes. I was really, truly pleased with the quality and fit of these bunny jammies and just wanted to share that if you want to order for next year, now’s a great time. They’re 60% off!!! I ordered Jane a size 5T (she’s 4), Henry a size 14 (he’s 11) and Eliza a size 16 (she’s 9).
I didn’t have too many projects to post and share this week, but I did take down our shutters on the front of our house! What color do you think would look good? I’m going for a cottage look, I’m thinking either white or black to go along with the yellow. I’d absolutely love to hear your thoughts!
As you can see, Jon also ripped out all the landscaping and we plan to add some plants in the coming weeks. Our old landscaping was just out of control and it wasn’t looking as clean. I’m excited for this space to come together!
I’ve also been blogging a lot this week about our trip to Seaside! If you’re interested in just scrolling through and learning more about Seaside, here are the links to my recaps so far…
Lastly, who’s on Lemon8?? I’m over there hanging out just sharing whatever comes to mind! I have no idea what I’m doing, but so far it’s a nice space! I’m Over at Marie’s over there… come join me and we can have no idea what we’re doing together! Lol!
Alrighty then, that’s it for now! I hope you all have the most beautiful day and hopefully the sun in shining where you are!
Hey, hey, hey! It’s Monday and I’m here to share two weeks worth of our lives! May was bonkers, but it was a good kind of bonkers! Within the last two weeks, Jane had her last day of 3 year old preschool, Eliza turned 10 and Henry attended 6th Grade Honors Night. Two Sundays ago…
Happy December! Today I’m linking up with Tanya for her last Prime Purchases link up. Thank you, Tanya, for hosting this link up for so many years. I’ve not always been consistent with posting, but I’ve always enjoyed this link up party and I’m grateful for all the years you’ve hosted it! Our November was…
“Each book was a world unto itself, and in it I took refuge.” -Alberto Manguel I had the most exciting year of reading – I read and I read and I read some more! I’m happy to say that I set a goal… and well… weeeeeeeeell, I almost made that goal happen. More on that…
Hey there, friends and Happy Friday! Henry and Eliza don’t have school today, but Jane has a field trip for preschool to the fire department and then Henry will be performing with the high school band on the field tonight at 6! So our day isn’t exactly boring! I have to laugh though, this will…
Let’s play catch up and take this recap back to last Tuesday. We worked on our Valentine’s. Can I just say Sharpie pens and children absolutely terrify me?! I explained to Eliza to be careful with the Sharpie next to her Matilda Jane dress, her face, my face, the chair, the table… She did her…
We’re hitting the slopes next Friday and when thinking up my Friday Favorites for the week I started to think about all the items we’ve purchased these last few years for our snow skiing fun…and, well, for winter here in Michigan in general. Now, for the record, I’m the absolute WORST skier known to man…

It sounds like you have a lovely weekend planned. Good luck with the race.
Aww! What cute pajamas. I've never thought of buying one's for Easter.
