DIY Poster Board Christmas Trees

Let’s make DIY Poster Board Christmas Trees!

This was one heck of an easy Christmas craft and it was a lot of fun, too! These DIY Christmas trees would be fun to make with older kids and hot cocoa or for a girls’ night with wine and cheese! Or, if you’re like me – alone with a large cup of coffee! 😉

Grab some poster board, a hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, some scissors and some Santa Snow and start crafting!

The first thing that needs to be done is that the poster board needs to be rolled into a cone. You can make these are large or as small as you’d like. Once it’s been rolled, glue the sides together.

Here’s what my rolled up cone poster board looked like…

Next, cut strips of poster board and cut out triangles.

Fold up the ends of the triangles.

Then glue on each one. I started from the bottom and worked my way toward the top.

Next, I took my tree outside and covered it with my Santa Snow. You may need a couple of cans of Santa Snow depending on how much coverage you’d prefer.

I ended up making a few of these and I was extremely pleased with how they turned out! Not bad for a Christmas craft for under five bucks!

I’d love to hear what you think! If you make these, I’d love for you to tag me, too! I love seeing all the creativity out there on the World Wide Web!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy crafting, friends!

Marie 🙂
