Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
Happy Friday to one and all! We’ve had a busy few weeks readjusting to school schedules and the kids’ extracurricular activities. I do believe there was a day this week that I pulled in and out of my driveway 14 times… Phew! It’s been busy, indeed! Jane started four year old preschool on Wednesday and…
Let’s make an Easy DIY Easter Bunny Topiary! Most of the items I used for this craft I found at the Dollar Tree – this includes the pots, the moss, the paint, the ribbon, sponges, the small round styrofoam and the bunny head. The large round styrofoam was purchased at Walmart and I had the…
Happy Friday, Friends! First off, I owe a HUGE thanks to Lindsay over at Lindsay’s Sweet World for informing me that my comment box was missing here on my blog! For months I just thought, “Hmmm… I guess my content must not be worth commenting!” Lol and *facepalm* It’s all fixed and back up and…
Hi there! Phew! What a May we had! We were on the move constantly, but it was a good kind of busy and it was all about the kids, which is what I’m sharing today – a Life Lately blog post “Kids Edition.” Our “busy” began with spring sports. Henry tried out tennis this year…
Hello and Happy Friday, friends! I hope your week was lovely!!! It’s the calm before the storm for us of extreme busyness starting next week. I have a million and one meetings coming at me, Eliza’s production week for the spring musical is next week, I’m throwing Jane her 5th birthday party in two Sundays…
Phew! It’s been quite a week so far…and it’s only Tuesday! I haven’t been able to find much time to blog this last day and a half. Today I’m sharing the last half of our Christmas break. Our first half was a busy one at home, while the week that followed Christmas was a busy…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
