Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
Good morning and Happy Friday! We’re hosting a Halloween party tonight and we’ve been running around setting up and getting our costumes ready. Jon and I usually go to a coffee shop and read together on Friday mornings, but we’ve decided to just stay home this morning and continue prepping for tonight! When thinking about…
Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! We started our weekend on Thursday and headed to northern Michigan for our third year of skiing with the kiddos! We pulled the kids from school on Thursday afternoon and headed north. We stopped by to visit our friends, Brian and Kathryn, before heading to the…
Happy Sunday, Friends! I’m starting the week off on the right foot and blogging on a beautiful Sunday morning. It makes my heart so happy. Today I’m sharing with you a little DIY Goodwill coffee table tray makeover. I’ve been searching for a large coffee table tray all over town and the cheapest I could…
Let’s make some Framed Sock Ghosts! While perusing the aisles of the Dollar Tree I came across these adorable gold frames. Aren’t they great?! The best part about these frames, other than the pretty factor, is that they were $1.25 each! What a score! Being that it’s September and I was feeling crafty, I headed…
Let’s make an Easter Basket in a Cup! Most of the supplies used for this adorable little Easter treat were found at Dollar Tree! The cups and cupcake liners I had on hand. Woohoo! I used a clear cup, Peeps, green cotton candy, Junior Mint Eggs, green cupcake holders, ribbon, hot glue and scissors. The…
Happy Friday and Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you! I have lots of happy goodness to share with you today! Let’s get to it! ONE I went to a local outlet store and found this brand new CupShe dress for a fraction of what I’d pay online. I knew that I’d seen this dress…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.
