Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
What a week/weekend, eh? There was so much goodness, I just had to document all of it! I’ll try not to be too wordy… Let’s go back to Wednesday. The kids had a half day of school and I ran around baking, cleaning and packing up to leave. We met up with Jon’s parents at…
Today I’m showing you guys How to Make a Witch Wreath! For this project, I used fall-inspired faux florals, a witch hat, hot glue, scissors and a wire cutter. The first step was cutting the wire of the hat. Next, I used scissors and cut the hat in half. I would suggest not cutting it…
Hey, hey, hey! Happy Friday! We’re having sandwiches for dinner tonight and I’m here for it. A nice and easy dinner after a second week in the row of crazy busyness! I’m so curious, what’s your go-to easy dinner meal? I need ideas! I’m sooooo looking forward to slower weeks ahead, well before the holidays…
Let’s make an Easter Garden Vegetable Tray! This Easter dish will be sure to be a hit! It’s cute, it’s easy, it’s healthy and it’s delicious. In order to make this Easter Garden Veggie Tray I headed to Walmart and a couple of dollar stores to see what I could find. While in Walmart I…
Hey there, friends! After almost two weeks without blogging, I’m back and I’m sharing some gift guides with you! I’ve been busy with our school parent group putting together a school fun fair and silent auction for our elementary schools and it took every second of any time I had throughout the day… phew! It…
We recently arrived home from a fantastic trip out west visiting the Badlands, the Black Hills, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park! Jon and I have had a trip out west on our minds for quite some time now. We started to look into a trip in the late spring knowing that we probably wouldn’t…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
