Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
Let’s make Easy Oreo Cookie Tree Treats! I came across these White Fudge Covered Oreos while perusing the aisles of Walmart and I knew they’d make for a perfect holiday treat! I also grabbed some Candy Wafers, Christmas sprinkles and Gold Star Icing Decorations! At this point I added my own Wilton decorating bag to…
Okay, sooo let me completely transparent here. Martha Stewart I am not…and these melted chocolate covered strawberries had be questioning my baking and crafting and decorating abilities- BUT – I did it, I finished it and guess what? The kids absolutely devoured these special little beastly 😉 treats! If anyone out there knows how to…
We’re hitting the slopes next Friday and when thinking up my Friday Favorites for the week I started to think about all the items we’ve purchased these last few years for our snow skiing fun…and, well, for winter here in Michigan in general. Now, for the record, I’m the absolute WORST skier known to man…
Let’s make an Easy DIY Easter Bunny Topiary! Most of the items I used for this craft I found at the Dollar Tree – this includes the pots, the moss, the paint, the ribbon, sponges, the small round styrofoam and the bunny head. The large round styrofoam was purchased at Walmart and I had the…
Okay guys, who’s ready for the Super Bowl!? Okay, okay, I have to be honest…I don’t even know who’s playing. I know, I know…that’s terrible. I’m sure we’ll have it on at some point and I’m ALWAYS game for the half-time show! I just hope both teams have fun. LOL! Okay, so back to the…
Let’s make an Easter Garden Vegetable Tray! This Easter dish will be sure to be a hit! It’s cute, it’s easy, it’s healthy and it’s delicious. In order to make this Easter Garden Veggie Tray I headed to Walmart and a couple of dollar stores to see what I could find. While in Walmart I…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
