Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
Okay, party people, we’re a week away from Christmas Eve Eve! Who’s ready?! Not. Me. LOL! Buuuuut, I have been crafting and cleaning and doing laundry…and doing more laundry… You’d think that with all that laundry, I’d look better and have something to wear other than what I did yesterday when I had to go…
Five. An entire hand. Five little fingers. Our big baby weighing in at 9 lbs 11oz is growing into a big girl. Having Jane was a lot different from our first two. My heart ached from before she was born and then throughout the past five years due to some emotional occurrences. My oldest brother,…
Now that the kids are in school and summer is coming to an end, I’m finally able to blog again! Woo to the Hoo!!! I’m back with another recap to our trip out West to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. It’s my goal to finish up these recaps this week! I’m linking up for…
It’s a lovely day for Prime Purchases! It’s been a while since participating in Prime Purchases and it’s good to be back! I’ve linked up some of my fave March purchases, however I left out Jon’s sardines and copy paper 😉 (LOL), but linked up his favorite protein, so there’s that!!! 😉 Let’s get to…
Happy Friday, Friends! We were up around 4:30 a.m. this morning and we’re heading to 30A in Florida, with an overnight stay in Alabama! The drive from Michigan to Seaside is about 13 hours and we brought lots of snacks and activities for the ride. I didn’t get to blog much this week due to…
Guys, you’re going to love these Chocolate Filled Champagne Flutes! Our school Boosters celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week this past week and we went with a Hollywood/Red Carpet Theme. While perusing the aisles of the dollar store late last week and came across these champagne flutes! I immediately thought about how we could somehow incorporate them…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
