Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
Let’s make some shabby chic witch hats! When thinking about decorating Jane’s bedroom for Halloween, I was thinking I wanted to keep things fun and not too spooky. I recently added pink bead board and some floral wallpaper to her room and it’s very cottage core. So, I decided to attempt to make something to…
Happy Friday, friends! We’ve had another busy week of soccer practices, cross country practices, a cross country meet and dance class. I’m so very grateful for the weekend! I’m one tired Mama! I have been creating and blogging and posting more – Yay for that! But how the heck do people get thousands upon thousands…
Hey, hey, hey! Happy Friday! We’re having sandwiches for dinner tonight and I’m here for it. A nice and easy dinner after a second week in the row of crazy busyness! I’m so curious, what’s your go-to easy dinner meal? I need ideas! I’m sooooo looking forward to slower weeks ahead, well before the holidays…
Welp, I’m a day late to the party… mom life and laundry got the best of me yesterday! My theme this week seems to be that I’m running a day behind on everything – Oy!!! Today’s post is made up the most random of items…items we’re loving and a couple of items on my wishlist!…
Happy Friday, Friends! I’m linking up with Andrea from Momfessionals and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything for Friday Favorites! We’ve had a great week of Henry and Eliza attending theater camp and Jane and I getting in some errands, a couple of jogs in the park and some one-on-one time! It’s been a nice week for everyone…
Hello there, Monday! For the past week or so, we’ve been dealing with coughs, running noses and exhaustion and it seems I was the lucky winner to get whatever is going around last. I’m feeling a bit under the weather this morning, BUT, I managed to get a lot done since we were actually home…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
