Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
Hey there friends and Happy FriYAY! We have an exciting weekend of zero plans and I’m here for it! I plan to get in a much needed run or two and to catch up on a wee-bit-o-laundry…aaaaaand I may attempt to start a new book, Verity. Have you read it? I bought it last summer…
We arrived home from our trip to Florida a few weeks ago and I’m feeling like I’m finally unpacked and able to document and share our Disney and Universal recap! We headed over to the Detroit airport on Thursday, February 8th. We found an easy parking spot and headed into the hotel located inside the…
It’s Friday and it’s going to be 80 degrees here in Michigan today! Woohoo!!! Snow is in the forecast on Monday, but we’ll worry about that about 72 hours from now. Ugh! As for today and for the rest of the weekend, we plan to go to the park, run some errands, Jane has dance this…
Now that the kids are in school and summer is coming to an end, I’m finally able to blog again! Woo to the Hoo!!! I’m back with another recap to our trip out West to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. It’s my goal to finish up these recaps this week! I’m linking up for…
We woke up nice and early to beat the crowds and headed about an hour down and over to Old Faithful. There were a lot of sights and views to take in along the way, but we figured we’d visit the other attractions on our way back to the lodge so that we could take…
Whenever December arrives, I like to have an Advent Calendar/Christmas Countdown for the kiddos. Sometimes I make them, sometimes I don’t. I was feeling crafty this year so I decided to make one, but instead of the full 24/25 days, I opted for the Twelve Days of Christmas. I found this picture at Goodwill and…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
