Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
We just arrived back from our trip to Universal Studios and Disney World and while I still have some recaps coming in the near future, I thought I’d share where I made some of our clothing purchases! Before heading to the Disney parks, we stopped by Universal for a day and I found some really…
Have you heard of this oven cleaner hack? Stripping wood with oven cleaner. All it takes is some prep work, spraying, scrubbing and some sunlight and a frame can be completely transformed! I found this beautiful painted canvas at our local thrift store and knew I needed to bring it home with me. Being that…
Okay, party people, we’re a week away from Christmas Eve Eve! Who’s ready?! Not. Me. LOL! Buuuuut, I have been crafting and cleaning and doing laundry…and doing more laundry… You’d think that with all that laundry, I’d look better and have something to wear other than what I did yesterday when I had to go…
Phew! It’s been quite a week so far…and it’s only Tuesday! I haven’t been able to find much time to blog this last day and a half. Today I’m sharing the last half of our Christmas break. Our first half was a busy one at home, while the week that followed Christmas was a busy…
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I was trying to think up a super easy treat for the kiddos when popcorn suddenly “popped” into my head! Pun tooootally intended. 😉 Then I got thinking, this popcorn needs Conversation Hearts, but you know what else it needed? Drizzled white chocolate – but make it…
Today’s Halloween craft of the day is this spooky, but home decor chic, Halloween Skull Vase! This craft involved a visit to the dollar store for this spooky skull, a visit to my garage for some spray paint, a quick rummage through my knife drawer and then I headed out to my backyard to accessorize!…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
