Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
Let’s play catch up and take this recap back to last Tuesday. We worked on our Valentine’s. Can I just say Sharpie pens and children absolutely terrify me?! I explained to Eliza to be careful with the Sharpie next to her Matilda Jane dress, her face, my face, the chair, the table… She did her…
Happy weekend, friends! We’ve been enjoying this beautiful and warm Michigan September. The kids have been swimming in the lake every night this week and Jon’s been out water skiing in the evenings. The kids had friends over on Sunday for a lake day and the weather did not disappoint. As for my blogging favorites,…
Let’s make an Easter Garden Vegetable Tray! This Easter dish will be sure to be a hit! It’s cute, it’s easy, it’s healthy and it’s delicious. In order to make this Easter Garden Veggie Tray I headed to Walmart and a couple of dollar stores to see what I could find. While in Walmart I…
Hey, hey, hey! Remember me, Friday Favorites, Friends!? Welp, amongst the crazy that is the month of May, I’ve also been busy building a new blog over here! I still have a few more items to iron out when it comes to this new blog thing, but I’m happy to be back it and I’ll…
Today we’re up in northern Michigan on a camping trip, but I thought I’d still post a little for Friday Favorites! I’m sharing some cute Amazon Fourth of July Decor! So, without further ado… I’m linking up with Andrea from Momfessionals and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything. Boutique Bunting Bunting American Flags Porch Banners Red, White…
Let’s make a Ghost Garland with these adorable little ghosts from Walmart! These adorable little ghosts were $1.00 each at Walmart and I instantly fell in love with them! I grabbed some pretty pink bows from the craft section, some garland/trim, my handy-dandy hot glue gun and started to make the cutest not-too-spooky Halloween garland…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
