Life Lately August-November 2024
Happy Monday!
It’s been forever-and-a-day since I’ve posted on a Monday AND with a Life Lately post. It’s also been forever-and-a-day since I’ve linked up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday!
I’ve been sharing a little bit here and there of our daily happenings, but figured I’d be nice to catch up all at once of what we’ve been up to so that our memories are archived here on the blog!
Our days from August through November have been busy, but so very good. I’ve tried to breathe in all the moments in-between all the crazy days.
Our days have consisted of: The first day of school (8th for Henry, 6th for Eliza and Kindergarten for Jane) – I completed a 10 mile road race – We took beautiful family photos at a gorgeous location in the country – We spent one more happy and lazy day on the lake for the 2024 season – Henry watched Michigan football (He’s loving the Detroit Lions, too) – Henry and I ran a race – I made sure to snap pictures here and there of Jane in the mornings before school to remember her this little – We visited friends on their lake and went skiing – Henry did lots of cross country running – Homecoming week and our Homecoming parade – General goofiness – Segways in the park – We visited a pumpkin farm – I now take a mug of coffee with me to the school drop off and pick up lines because the coffee just tastes better in a mug – Eliza’s performance at our local opera house – Henry’s band concert – The kids helped my sell raffle tickets – Henry performed with the marching band – We went on a nature hike – We bought pumpkins from a gas station – Halloween parade – Baking and decorating – Snuggling – Pumpkin carving – In the middle of it all, on Halloween, we received new drywall in our garage – Halloween – Halloween pictures – Raked and played in the leaves – The kids helped with the Fun Fair – Jon and I went on a date to Detroit to see Steve Martin and Martin Short – We voted – Jane lost her FIRST tooth!! – Fun Fair – We baked ALL the bread – Ran a race at the Michigan International Speedway with friends – Jane was Student of the Month – Henry had his friend, Ethan, over to bake bread and play video games – We visited Santa!!!!!
What a grand time we’ve had! We love the excitement of watching the kids grow and all the fun throughout the days of togetherness.
Thanks so much for stopping by and scrolling through!
