Welp, I’m a day late to the party… mom life and laundry got the best of me yesterday! My theme this week seems to be that I’m running a day behind on everything – Oy!!!
Today’s post is made up the most random of items…items we’re loving and a couple of items on my wishlist!
Henry needs to read 40 books this year for his English class…on top of all the 6th grade homework. Each book needs to be around 100 pages or more. These “Who Was” / “Who Is” books have proven to be the perfect solution!
I ordered the girls these Valentine’s Day Pajamas from Target. The material is really soft and they’re incredibly cute! Now I’m on the hunt for some red and white striped pajamas for Henry!
This is the only picture I have of all of us on our latest ski trip and of my ski coat Jon bought for me for Christmas! I was really impressed with it and guess what??? It’s on sale!
Looking forward – spring break is on the way and I’m reaaalllly considering buying a Bogg Bag for all of the beach essentials! Do you have one? Tell me why I need one!!
Our trip to London started off with a red eye from Detroit, Michigan to London’s Heathrow Airport. We settled in for our 7 1/2 flight with overnight travel kits, complimentary pillows and blankets. The kids and I loved the sleep masks and little toothpastes provided in our travel kits! We flew Delta and Jon was…
Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! We started our weekend on Thursday and headed to northern Michigan for our third year of skiing with the kiddos! We pulled the kids from school on Thursday afternoon and headed north. We stopped by to visit our friends, Brian and Kathryn, before heading to the…

If you’d like to make these, you’ll need some brown paper bags, some scissors and glue. That’s it! I’ve been seeing some pretty fancy…
If you look closely, you’ll spot a rainbow, which was perfect, because it was March 25th and it was Jane’s 6th Birthday! Jon had mentioned it was my Dad saying, “Happy Birthday,” to Jane. It was definitely a treat to see as we left Glencoe and headed to the Glenfinnan Viaduct, AKA the Harry Potter…
We woke up nice and early to beat the crowds and headed about an hour down and over to Old Faithful. There were a lot of sights and views to take in along the way, but we figured we’d visit the other attractions on our way back to the lodge so that we could take…
Let’s make a Ghost Garland with these adorable little ghosts from Walmart! These adorable little ghosts were $1.00 each at Walmart and I instantly fell in love with them! I grabbed some pretty pink bows from the craft section, some garland/trim, my handy-dandy hot glue gun and started to make the cutest not-too-spooky Halloween garland…

I have that same Little House on the Prairie set from when I was little! Mine looks a little bit different, but I still have it! I was hoping to hand it down to Olivia, but we read Little House in the Big Woods together and she hated it. I mean, WHAAAAT?!?!
Yesss! My books seem so old…the pages are all discolored…even Eliza asked about how old the books were…and then I grew a new gray hair and a new wrinkle! LOL
