Let’s make a Halloween Ghost Mop Pillow!
The supplies needed for this Halloween Ghost Mop Pillow consist of a pillow (I used one from my linen closet), a mop from the dollar store, some small buttons (also from the dollar store), some hot glue and scissors.
The first step is easy peasy – cut off long strips of the mop. Each ghost will consist of three strips. Push them together as to make a “ghost.”
While the ghosts are pushed together, carefully add a little bit of hot glue to connect the mop rope. This small amount of glue will help just enough for the ghosts to stay intact and will assist in making it easier when being glued to the pillow.
Once the hot glue has cooled and dried, cut off the ends of the ghost to even out the ends.
Add hot glue to the pillow, turn the ghost around and adhere the ghosts to the pillow.
Once glued onto the pillow, carefully add the buttons for the eyes and mouths…
Next, stuff the pillowcase with a pillow insert. There you have it! You’ve got yourself one spooky, but super adorable high-end looking pillow!
I’m proud of how this Halloween Ghost Mop Pillow turned out! Do you think you’ll be attempting one, too?! I’d love to see if you do!
