I’m a little late getting this post up today because I slept it and boy-oh-boy, it felt incredible! The kids had a great week at school and I had a week of feeling like I was doing things all week and then looking around and thinking, “What the heck did I do all week?”
…And so the story goes…
Okay, so, it’s Friday and I have a lot to share, so let’s get to it!
Let’s Shop!!!!
I’ve been seeing these shorts everywhere on social media, so I decided to head into Walmart and try them on and everyone is/was right, these shorts are amazing and the cost is EVER BETTER! The spandex shorts underneath are perfect for my thighs and they’re so comfortable!
While in Walmart, I also decided that I needed a workout shirt, because, well, why not?! 😉
I picked out this pretty fuchsia tank. It’s super cozy and I love how bright it is!
Here’s another item I found while in Walmart – this ridiculously beautiful outdoor rug!!!!
This rug would definitely make for the prettiest setting out on a patio or deck…heck, I’m even highly considering buying it and using it under my dining room table. It wasn’t shiny like some outdoor rugs and it’d make for really easy clean up!
Next up, and thinking ahead to summer, I thought about the time our kids participated in an entrepreneurial lemonade stand hosted by our local Children’s Museum. Our kids love hosting hot cocoa stands and lemonade stands, so I made sure to buy them these cute lemonade outfits and just needed to share!
Another find this week – these Smiley Drink Pouches! Another Instagrammer shared these and I just had to share over here on the blog – look how cute! Tween kiddos would love these….I mean, I’d love these!
Lastly, here’s what I’ve been creating! If you’re looking for any quick Easter snacks or this super easy Easter DIY, then check these out. They’re also posted in Reel form on my IG! I’d love it if you checked them out!
This one is Jane at the moment with our new minivan doors that she just HAS to open herself…and also close them…and then open again. I go nowhere fast these days. It takes forever and a day…. pray for me. 😉
The mosquitoes are coming.
Okay, welp, thanks so much for stopping by and thanks so much for all of your support! It means so much!
Let’s make a Ghost Garland with these adorable little ghosts from Walmart! These adorable little ghosts were $1.00 each at Walmart and I instantly fell in love with them! I grabbed some pretty pink bows from the craft section, some garland/trim, my handy-dandy hot glue gun and started to make the cutest not-too-spooky Halloween garland…
Hello there, friends! Who else is running out of breath? These past couple of weeks have been really busy, like really, REALLY busy. So much so that I’ve shown up to dance, or soccer, or piano, or a concert, or a teacher appreciation day or to pick up the kids from school completely out of…
Welp, it’s been well over a year since we’ve arrived home from Scotland and I’m finally posting this last part of our journey! Better late than never! If memory serves me right, these last days of our trip were equally fun and exhausting. We pushed these kids hard, but they kept up and were doing…
Let’s make an Easter Basket in a Cup! Most of the supplies used for this adorable little Easter treat were found at Dollar Tree! The cups and cupcake liners I had on hand. Woohoo! I used a clear cup, Peeps, green cotton candy, Junior Mint Eggs, green cupcake holders, ribbon, hot glue and scissors. The…
Join me on our visit to Prince of Wales Hotel and High Tea with Kids! Our journey to the Prince of Wales Hotel and High Tea meant that we’d be leaving Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park – read more about that here – and heading north into Waterton, Canada. We had packed so…
Happy Friday! We’ve been settling into our new routine of being busy every afternoon! Henry’s running cross country this year and Eliza is playing soccer AND she’s also in a play. Jane attends dance on Wednesdays and I am on our school PTO. Someone needs to come up with a kid taxi service/bus! Lol!!! I’ve…

Ugh that is probably the only thing I actually dread about summer– mosquitoes love me just a bit too much.
