It’s Friday and it’s going to be 80 degrees here in Michigan today! Woohoo!!!
Snow is in the forecast on Monday, but we’ll worry about that about 72 hours from now. Ugh!
As for today and for the rest of the weekend, we plan to go to the park, run some errands, Jane has dance this evening and we plan to eat homemade pizzas for dinner. Henry and Eliza have their first soccer games of the season tomorrow morning and then after their games, we’re heading over to Ann Arbor because Henry and I are running a race called, The Big House 5K on Sunday morning! I’ve participated in this race before, but this will be Henry’s first time and I just know he’s going to love running the race and finishing on the University of Michigan football field!
I remember be so happy to start running because it was 20 degrees, windy and it was snowing at one point and I was freeeeezing!
As for how our Easter weekend went, I’ll be getting up a blog post on Monday! In the meantime, I had ordered these matching Easter pajamas for the kids and they were perfect! Henry was such a good sport matching his sisters and participating in the cuteness.
These pajamas run from 3 months to size 16 so they’re perfect for kids spread out in age and sizes. I was really, truly pleased with the quality and fit of these bunny jammies and just wanted to share that if you want to order for next year, now’s a great time. They’re 60% off!!! I ordered Jane a size 5T (she’s 4), Henry a size 14 (he’s 11) and Eliza a size 16 (she’s 9).
I didn’t have too many projects to post and share this week, but I did take down our shutters on the front of our house! What color do you think would look good? I’m going for a cottage look, I’m thinking either white or black to go along with the yellow. I’d absolutely love to hear your thoughts!
As you can see, Jon also ripped out all the landscaping and we plan to add some plants in the coming weeks. Our old landscaping was just out of control and it wasn’t looking as clean. I’m excited for this space to come together!
I’ve also been blogging a lot this week about our trip to Seaside! If you’re interested in just scrolling through and learning more about Seaside, here are the links to my recaps so far…
Lastly, who’s on Lemon8?? I’m over there hanging out just sharing whatever comes to mind! I have no idea what I’m doing, but so far it’s a nice space! I’m Over at Marie’s over there… come join me and we can have no idea what we’re doing together! Lol!
Alrighty then, that’s it for now! I hope you all have the most beautiful day and hopefully the sun in shining where you are!
Let’s make a DIY Halloween Tomato Cage Witch! This project began just before sunset so it was definitely a race against time to figure out what I’d be doing! Not to mention that I had to enlist one of kiddos to become my photographer and videographer! I knew I wanted the base of my witch…
Let’s make Easy Oreo Cookie Tree Treats! I came across these White Fudge Covered Oreos while perusing the aisles of Walmart and I knew they’d make for a perfect holiday treat! I also grabbed some Candy Wafers, Christmas sprinkles and Gold Star Icing Decorations! At this point I added my own Wilton decorating bag to…
We woke up nice and early to beat the crowds and headed about an hour down and over to Old Faithful. There were a lot of sights and views to take in along the way, but we figured we’d visit the other attractions on our way back to the lodge so that we could take…
Let’s make an Easter Basket in a Cup! Most of the supplies used for this adorable little Easter treat were found at Dollar Tree! The cups and cupcake liners I had on hand. Woohoo! I used a clear cup, Peeps, green cotton candy, Junior Mint Eggs, green cupcake holders, ribbon, hot glue and scissors. The…
I’ve been busy continuing to document and recap our trip to Glacier National Park and Banff National Park! I have one more blog post to go for Banff! I love journaling about our travels and day-to-day! It’s the reason I started blogging in 2012 and I love to look back at pictures and read about…
Hello and Happy Tuesday! I’m over here catching up on all the things from the last two weeks! I thought that with school being out, I’d have more time to blog, but between end of the school year events, summer camps and tball…oh and being asked, “MOOOOM?!” at least 732,429 times a day, I just…
