Halloween Home Tour – 2021
I can’t believe I’m actually posting a home tour!!!
It’s going to be the shortest home tour ever, BUT – I did it!
Woohoo! Small victories!!!
I’ve had so much fun decorating this year. To be honest, I’ve been utterly exhausted since way back when I was pregnant with Jane in 2018. I lacked the energy to do much of anything and any energy I could muster up usually went toward decorating for Christmas. It made me sad for Henry and Eliza because they had grown accustomed to me going all out for the holidays.
Then, I had Jane, then 2020, then virtual learning and then…well, we were all in survival mode…
With all that being said, I hope you enjoy my tiny little Halloween Home Tour and what says Halloween Home Tour more than pumpkins and cabbage in a window box?! LOL!
I did a similar box last year, but added pumpkins this year and that middle stalk pointy plant thing – a botanist I am not. 😉
Eliza and I added these adorable bats that I found here. Amazon for the win!
If you follow me on IG then you’ve seen this…
These witch hats are so cute for decorating, but they’re also actual, real head-sized witch hats. I was super impressed with the quality, too. The candles are also from Amazon. I had them on hand from Henry and Eliza’s Harry Potter birthday parties.
I’ve yet to hang up pictures above our piano since I ended up taking some frames from the family room and putting them in our newly painted bathroom, so this will have to do. I drew on cute little black circles on those little while pumpkins and I think they’re just so dang cute.
Also, the piano isn’t finished being painted. Face palm. Welcome to my house, where I finish projects at 90% and then apparently just walk away. Bahahaha!
Our newly painted bathroom received a bit of Halloween decor.
I love this space so much!
Eliza’s room received a leftover witch hat and some dollar store balloon wall decor!
Super cheap and super cute!
My little assistant helped me add a little bit of spooky to Henry’s room. I decided not to make it Pinterest perfect for this post. I cleaned things up, but I love his little stuffed animals that he still snuggles with and all of his books out on display make my heart oh-so-happy. He’s also started to use his own alarm clock in the mornings. This picture definitely serves as a moment in time…he’s still my little boy.
This isn’t really home decor, but we’ve been collecting little treats to send to all of the kids’ cousins since we live kind of far away. Some cousins we haven’t seen for over two years. Hopefully they’ll love their little treats.
There you have it! Now to hold my horses on going wild with Christmas decor! LOL!
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my itty bitty Halloween Home Tour!
Best Wishes,
Marie 🙂
