Thanksgiving with Kids
I know, I know – I’m excited about Christmas, too. In fact, it’s taking every fiber of my being to not “deck the halls!” I’m right there with ya’ – I don’t know who much longer I can hold out…I give it until tomorrow. 😉
So, here we go…
Aren’t these chocolate covered Rice Krispie turkeys adorable?!

We may have to hand out these “turkey toes” to Henry’s pre-school class!
I mean, come on…this one is just too cute…

I’m not a huge fan of candy corn (I mean, I’ll still eat it…I’ll eat almost anything sweet), but this is just too cool and whoever thought of this idea should receive some sort of award!

Here’s a great idea for a cheap and fun game for the kiddos.

Do you have older kids? This Thanksgiving charades game could be a blast!

This project could be fun to make after Thanksgiving dinner…

I thought this little guy could be fun to have at a kid’s table with fun little things inside (stickers, funny straws, crayons, etc.).

I may have to make this “feather letter turkey” with the kids at some point this week.

Lastly, these turkey snack bags could be beneficial if you’re traveling with the kiddos!

What great ideas! I'm definitely going to try a couple out with the kiddos. We always do Thanksgiving Bingo every year too.
And I'm with you – I just can't decorate yet – I've always been a day after Thanksgiving Christmas decorator and I don't think that will ever change…but I do listen to Christmas pretty much all of November LOL
Hahahaha, you caught me!! Yes, I'm one of THOSE. I used to always wait until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate, but being as how we're so busy now with the little ones AND I put SOOOO much stuff up (so it takes forever) I start decorating around mid-November. I figure, if it's gonna take me two weeks to get it up, I better put it up early enough for us to enjoy it for a while. We always wait to get our tree until the day after Thanksgiving, though, because we get a real one and we wouldn't want it to be brown by the time Christmas came around. Hahahaha.
I saw that candy corn turned into a corn cob craft for the first time this year. My mind was blown!
No Christmas anything here until after Thanksgiving…gotta respect the turkey!
