Friday Favorites
Hey there friends and Happy FriYAY! We have an exciting weekend of zero plans and I’m here for it! I plan to get in a much needed run or two and to catch up on a wee-bit-o-laundry…aaaaaand I may attempt to start a new book, Verity. Have you read it? I bought it last summer and just never got around to reading it, but I’m excited to see what it’s all about! I did finally finish, The Summer I Turned Pretty. It was a nice, light-hearted, easy read. 🙂
Oh, on top of reading a book, laundry and maybe a run or two, Jon and I are celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary tomorrow! Once again, we have zero plans and I’m tooootally good with it…and, of course, so is Jon. 🙂
Jon’s birthday is on Tuesday and then Father’s Day is the following Sunday! Talk about a week of celebrating my main squeeze! Ha! I’ve rounded up some Father’s Day gift ideas / gift ideas for Jon’s upcoming birthday! LOL!
Check it out!

In other SUPER DUPER fun and exciting news – ALDI USA shared one of my Instagram Reels this week and as of this morning, it’s had 219,000 plays on ALDI’s IG page and I’ve gained about 8 followers! I’m thrilled!
Jane started Tball this week and it was one of my most favorite things I’ve EVER seen! I recorded everything and it’s priceless! It was equally comical and adorable! 10/10 would recommend!
We had a movie night last night and Eliza had the idea to make her own movie theater trays out of cereal boxes and tape! My heart is always happiest when all the kids are creating! They turned out great!
Okay, welp – that’s it for now! It was a great week of finding a routine since the kids are out of school. I love having them home. 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy anniversary! I read Verity and enjoyed it; if I remember correctly it was one of those books I read in just a day… though I did have an inkling about how it was going to end.
It was seriously one of my most favorite books I’ve ever read! Sooooo good!
My fella has just told me that he’s been in his current job for a year next week, I didn’t realise. It means a little pay rise and a paid breakfast out with management.
How interesting, I didn’t know you had Aldi in the across the pond too. I do love that shop! Well done on getting your post noticed by them.
Those movie theater trays are just brilliant!
Thanks so much! Aldi sure is amazing! The kids loved making those movie theater trays! I was impressed, too! 🙂
